Star Student Luncheon Recognizes Local Senior For Perfect SAT Score
Monday, February 22 at 12pm at The Kiwanis Meeting
The PAGE STAR program honors Georgia’s outstanding high school seniors and the teachers who have been most instrumental in their academic development. Recently celebrating its 50th anniversary, the STAR (Student Teacher Achievement Recognition) program has honored more than 21,500 high school seniors who have in turn chosen their STAR teachers to share in this recognition. Locally, STAR Students & Teachers are honored by their schools and receive special recognition in their communities from the more than 165 civic organizations and businesses that serve as local sponsors of the STAR program.
On Monday, February 22, the Kiwanis recognized local Camden County High School Senior, David Anthony. At the meeting, David Anthony was given a check for $250.00 from Kiwanis and presented by Allen Rassi, Kiwanis President.
