Our St. Marys Kiwanis Club will be celebrating 40 consecutive years of sponsoring the 4^th of July festival. Because this is a big anniversary for us, we want to have the best fireworks as possible this year. While the City of St. Marys funds a good portion of the cost of the fireworks we want to increase the fireworks display by an additional $4,000.00 without drastically deferring what we donate to our local charities.

A six inch shell makes a good display rocket and we are attempting to provide more of them. In order to do that, we are asking businesses and individuals to sponsor a shell for $ 100.00 each.

Each sponsors name or business name will be listed in the program as a fireworks sponsor. The names will be read as well from the stage and these shells will be the first ones to be shot. The program will be included in the Tribune & Georgian just prior to the 4^th and will reach over 7,500 households.
