Welcome to the
Kiwanis Club of Saint Marys, Georgia

The Kiwanis Club of Saint Marys is a positive force in our community. Through guidance and example, it works to develop future generations of leaders.  Proceeds from events are spent locally to fund club initiatives like Christmas for Camden Kids, K-Kids & Terrific Kids programs, the Kiwanis Scholarship Program, and Thanksgiving baskets to needy families.

STAR Student
The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR)
program honors Camden County's outstanding high school
seniors and teachers with the highest GPA score.

Student Scholarships
Annually, three $2,000 scholarships are awarded to Camden County
high school students based on essays submitted to the Kiwanis Club
Scholarship Committee. The scholarships must be used to attend an
accredited college, university, or trade/vocational school. One of the
scholarships is awarded to a CCHS Key Club member. There is no
minimum GPA requirement or a transcript to be elegible for this
scholarship. The application deadline this year is April 12, 2016.

Adopt a Highway
Adapt-A-Highway provides cleaner and safer highways,  plus
promotes a sense of community pride.  This project is often done
with Sponsored Youth and gives club members an opportunity
    to interact with the students.

K-Kids Give Back During the Holidays

During the holidays, KKids at St. Marys Elementary
remembered that it is far better to give than to receive. In
December, the St. Marys Elementary School K
Kids had not
     one but two Christmas projects.

First, they collected money to purchase gifts for two children in
the Christmas for Camden Families program. They bought the
gifts and delivered them to the Salvation Army.
Their next
project was to make handmade Christmas cards to send to residences of Magnolia Manor
and the Senior Care Center in St. Marys.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the true spirit of the holidays!

Kiwanis One Day
This annual, one day program is a Georgia Kiwanis District
project where all Kiwanis members in the state do community
service on the same day.  The Saint Marys Kiwanis club has used
this opportunity to upgrade Saint Marys parks and playgrounds.
The project is a partnership with sponsored youth as well as
DEFY, Sea Cadets and other community organizations.
