St Marys Kiwanis to Welcome World Record Contender

40^th Annual Independence Day Celebration

As we have the opportunity to reflect on the 232 years of our Country’s Independence, we have a lot to be thankful for! Our families and friends have given so much for the cause of Freedom and Liberty for all of us.

The Kiwanis Club of St. Marys has spent the last 40 years celebrating with our community the 4^th of July Festival. With the incredible support of the City of St. Marys, we have partnered together to give everyone a festival to be proud of.

This year’s festival will have our traditional 5 K and 10 K Runs for youth and adults as well as adding a 1.5 K Fun Run for elementary age kids starting at 7 am. We will have our 4^th of July Parade starting at 10:00 am. During the Festival we will have over 100 vendors participating as well as incredible musical entertainment which includes a Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest and a Watermelon Eating Contest for all ages on the Main Stage.

There will be our traditional Classic Car Show, children rides and activities throughout the festival. The Main Event for the evening will be our 4^th of July Fireworks Display on the St. Marys River that will be our biggest ever.
